SKY-RAY, savunma sanayii odaklı, yüksek enerjili yönlendirilmiş enerji sistemleri, otonom hedef tespiti ve lazer tabanlı hava savunma teknolojileri geliştiren bir mühendislik girişimidir. Diyot tabanlı yüksek güçlü lazer sistemleri ile 1–3 km menzilde hızlı tepki verebilen prototip çözümler üretmektedir. Yapay zekâ destekli görüntü işleme, gerçek zamanlı takip ve lazer güdüm sistemleri ile entegre çalışan sistemler, düşük irtifa tehditlerine karşı etkili koruma sunar. SKY-RAY, savunma teknolojilerinde yerli ve yenilikçi çözümler üretmeyi amaçlamaktadır.
As an alternative to conventional kinetic defense systems, high-energy laser systems offer cost-effective, high-precision, and rapid-response solutions against the dynamic threats of modern battlefields. This presentation will cover in detail the technical architecture, AI-supported targeting algorithms, modular system design, and operational scenarios of next-generation laser-based air defense systems developed on the basis of directed energy technologies. Additionally, the presentation will showcase Sky-Ray, an indigenous system developed in Türkiye, capable of real-time target tracking and effective laser engagement against electro-optical threats. Designed to be integrated into both stationary and mobile platforms, the system’s development phases, performance tests, and potential applications will be presented. This session aims to contribute to the technical knowledge base surrounding laser defense systems—representing a new era in defense technology—while providing vision for industry stakeholders and encouraging young engineers to engage in this strategic and innovative field.
